CRC Administrator – Hays Education Compliance Team

Job Description:

Your new team

Based in the Leicester office, the Hays Education Compliance team provides essential support to the Education business by reviewing and auditing candidate files to ensure that they meet all of Hays’ legal and regulatory obligations and authorising candidates to work once our rigorous clearance requirements have been met.

Your new job

As a member of the CRC Administration team, your role will be to provide management information to the Education business and take ownership of any ad hoc requests for figures. You will collate and distribute information regarding child protection checks that are approaching expiry to relevant internal parties and assist in the processing of child protection/criminal record checks e.g. Children’s Barred List checks and DBS. You will be responsible for ensuring all authorised candidates’ qualification checks are up to date and you will review candidate applications to ensure convictions declared on DBS certificates have been approved. You will also be responsible for creating and sending ID cards to candidates for use whilst on Hays assignments.

Ensuring relevant and timely information is given to the business is an important part of this role and constant liaison with, and support of, the business in order to facilitate this will be essential.

What you’ll need to succeed in this job

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail combined with a methodical approach to your work. You will need to have good IT skills, in particular a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You should enjoy working in a fast paced and target orientated environment and be capable of handling confidential information, with a strong customer focus, and be able to communicate and liaise with people at all levels.

As a strong team player, you should have a positive attitude to your work with a constant drive and motivation to represent the Hays brand in a professional manner. A background of administration work gained within a customer -focused environment would be ideal.
