Hays Career Transition is a specialist division within Hays that supports organisations and individuals going through organisational change. Our services include the support of individuals facing redundancy and redeployment through specialist advice, coaching, workshops and on-line resources. We utilise our expertise in the World of Work and fuse this with first class coaching and training delivery to provide a career transition service of the highest quality across the UK. We were established in 2009 but have grown the client-base significantly across both the private and public sectors.
Your New Role
Utilising Hays’ reputation as experts in the ‘World of Work’ you shall be responsible for targeting and developing relationships with senior HR and procurement leaders with the aim of offering tailored career transition solutions. Your clients will be a mix of those who have engaged with us previously, those using competitors and others who may be considering career transition options for the first time. Success in this field stems from pro-active business development, building internal engagement with other parts of Hays, deploying social media campaigns and promoting thought leadership. Having created a tailored solution for your client, you will then act as the liaison between client and our project team to ensure an effective implementation of the project. With over 80% of our clients providing repeat business this is an ideal opportunity to up sell additional services.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have proven business development skills with the ability to build credible working relationships at all levels with both existing and new clients. Your personal fee generation will be key in driving the sales team forward. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to deliver high calibre sales presentations. With strong commercial acumen you should be able to identify business opportunities but also balance this with strong account management skills to ensure that programmes are successful and additional solutions are identified.
