We pay £15,600 and up to £2,600 per annum performance based bonus

Our award-winning Internship program will give you a unique insight into the world of work and hands-on experience of life in business. Our 12 month Inernship will see you running your own desk, working alongside high performing consultants and interacting with both clients and candidates, in fact you will treated  like every other employee that works for us. As a result you’ll be equipped with the skills you’ll need to succeed once you finish university, and many of our interns return to Hays after completing their studies.

Your new role

Reporting into a Team Leader, your role will involve interacting with potential clients and candidates, building relationships and therefore placing candidates into suitable roles. It’s a busy, fast-paced and high-volume environment and you’ll be responsible for sourcing top talent and providing support to the team. You will be screening a high volume of applicants whilst managing several different positions at any one time. We offer a job that’s fast paced, fun and rewarding. 

How you’ll be successful

There's not one typical person that makes a good Recruiter…and people with all sorts of degrees and disciplines have completed industrial placement with us. You’ll be passionate about Hays core values and want to hire exceptional talent for the clients you are representing. You will have strong organisational skills, great time management and a high level of attention to detail. Successful candidates will be Sales driven and results focused and possess an ambitious drive to succeed. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and will be professional and trustworthy with a positive attitude. Recruitment is hard work and it takes time to achieve results, so resilience, persistence and determination is key.
